The Caravan Club

As Europe’s premier touring organisation, The Caravan Club represents the interests of one million caravanners, motor caravanners and trailer tent owners. It operates the largest privately-owned network of quality sites in the UK, together with a further 2,500 Certificated Locations (sites that take a maximum of five outfits). The Club is an £100 million turnover business, providing a wide range of services and activities for the benefit of its members. The club has subsections in different countries. In Northern Ireland they have an Ulster Club. This club goes on weekly meets and organises most of these on an annual basis. We at The Shepherds Rest Campsite have been hosting there Halloween meet as last few years. An example of this is below.

Description o site:
Commercial site at a lovely country setting. Mainly hard standing. Bring levellers. EHU for most Bring splitter if you have one.

Route:
From the roundabout in Draperstown, take road towards Omagh, 5.5 miles in a straightish line. Do not turn on to the B47. Site on the left hand side behind pub.

Attractions & Activities:
Delightful country setting. Play hut & garden cottage for children and adults. Friday night tea/coffee at 8 pm followed by music in the public bar for all campers.

Saturday:
Davagh forest MTB trails or forest walks. Spooky visit to Beaghmore stone circles. Trick or treat around the vans. Sat evening hot and cold buffet with desserts tea/coffee followed by fancy dress and dance band. (see www.cculstercentre.co.uk for fancy dress theme)
